Wed. Oct. 29th Engine Room Review By Dan Martino:
Hemlock show was fun. Everyone on thier feet havin
a good time. Jesse was sick as fuck but still troopered that shit. All the bands were great and it was good to hear from Hemlock
that the Slayer crew is a cool bunch of motherfuckers. Hemlock were pretty bad ass. Never really heard them before and the
music was impressive. The Band members were more than nice and were eager to play more shows with us in the future. Overall
i'd say it was a great time. I'm tired as fuck today and want to just sleep but me and chris got to get working on our newest
song. WAIT TILL YOU HEAR IT!! fuckin crazy. Sounds like nothing else in this world! serious. Anyway, Thanks to the Engine
Room, Hemlock, good local bands and DEREISTIC for a great show on a wed. WHY DIDN'T YOU GO!?!?

Review of Dereistic's cd from Extreme Reviews
Dereistic (U.S.)- s/t (2001 self)
Another addition for me and the website from Texas is this 5-piece and their decent debut 9-track
self-done CD. Amazingly, Dereistic has captured a unique sound like that of Canada's Disciples Of Power (people who have been
in the underground as long as I have know what I'm talking about). Trying to describe their music is another trivial task
since there's some Hardcore tinged with Death Metal or "Death-Core" as most call it and understandable for the most part vocally
and would be appealing to fans of Living Sacrifice and another oldie but goodie, Ossuary, whom was pretty popular in the underground
coming out of PA with the so-called "phat" riffs. I'm sure all the newer people are scratching their heads as I'm talking
in Greek but I assure you these guys are the real deal and true supporters of the u/g since the early 90's will get my drift.
Violent moshing-type brutality at it's best!
This is a review of the Cardi's show written by Dan Martino
Houston venues never seem to understand
the balance between a place with good sound and a place with a cool atmosphere. Cardi's actually found this balance
and provides a bad ass place for bands to play. the show on the 29th was pretty fuckin cool. lot's of new poeple came
out from all over to check out the show. sometime after 10pm we took the stage in one of the funnest shows i've ever
played. the pit was pretty good size the entire time and the lighting and sound was bad ass the whole night. Over all
the show was badass and the after party was pretty fuckin crazy too. Look for us to be playing more at cardi's in
the future.

The show at Cardi's was pretty fun! It was
the first time I played there. There were more people there than I was expecting since we have never played there. The
show went pretty smooth besides one mess up but that was about it. The crowd didn't get into it as much as I would have liked.
There was no mosh pit. I like it when people stomp around. The lighting I can say was excellent. One of the best! You
can see the pictures from the show at http://www.dereistic.com . The sound there wasn't to shabby either! So in all,
it was a GREAT show. See everyone at the next!

White Rabbit show written by Dan Martino
the white rabbit show was a little wierd in my opinion. one of the coolest places tho. after our 3 1/2 hour
drive we finally arrived to find the coolest, biggest, most bad ass stage ever. huge monitors on the side's of the stage,
great p.a., more monitors in the front of the stage and back by travis. it was bad ass. and then we found out we were supposed
to play in the back. this stage was shit. period. we couldn't have fit on it if we had too. travis's kit took up about the
whole stage himself. against our wishes we set up on the back stage. after tuning and getting ready to play we get the call
to set up on the big stage. THANKS TO THE GODS FOR THAT ONE. eager as hell we must have set our shit up in like 5 min. the
crowd was pretty good. not really our type of people(there was a bunch of 80's buttrock bands that night) but they dug it.
good response from everyone. jesse managed to bust the fuck outta his eye. during (i think) painful jesse hits his eye on
the head of his bass, blood all over. it was crazy. the crowd liked it. by the time we played SIMPLE every pot head in that
place was jammin. the people at the white rabbit are a bunch of cool ass mother fuckers too. met a band called COURSE OF FAITH.
who is actually the guitarist from PROTEIN SHAKE(they broke up). should be getting a show with them there for our july tour.
can't wait to play it again.

review for the white rabbit show. (sat. may 25th)
DEREISTIC HAS ARRIVED
this was another
crazy ass show. seems like everytime we play there something crazy is going on. we didn't leave houston until about 4:30 because
jason and travis wanted to smoke a doobie. about 3 hours and a couple doobies each, we arrived at the rabbit. found out we
played at 10:15 and that we'd be on the back stage this time. not really a problem. me,jason and jesse all went lookin for
hoe's around the alamo and ended up getting lost until about 10:00pm. got back to the club, set up all our shit and started
tuning and shit. I wanna say that the people at the white rabbit are the shit. they set us up on a really good night, helped
us flyer for the show (since we don't live out there), and are helping us out as much as possible with other clubs in the
area. anyway, once we started playign shit went crazy. about 70-100 people made there way to the back stage(a good draw for
us never playing back there)it took about 2 songs but afterwards there was a pit about the size of the room. it was nice to
see. good crowd. Jesse bashed me in the eye about half way through the set. blood was all coming down, looked pretty cool.
about the same scar jesse has by his eye. overall it was a bad ass show. couldn't have asked for better. we must have passed
out about 25 cd's after the show. if you're in the area we should be back sometime late july with Hostility. no date is confirmed
yet. we should have it by next wed. take it easy.. smoke more weed.

California review written by Dan Martino
June 2nd we left for our new home in bakersfield california. 24 hours later we finally
arrived. fuckin crazy desert style and shit. not much happened for a while as far as band shit goes. we did meet some kids
out there, scored some chronic and beer, met some chicks and started partying. the 3rd night there we had the cops called,
and a repeated visit was made by them the next night. bunch of asses. June 19th we had our first show. The Garage in L.A.
nice place. 21 and up, nice stage, no stage monitors or anything, just a p.a. for the vocals. some bubblegum bands played(one
was actually called bubblegum) and then we hit the stage. some craziness. just seconds before we were ready a fight breaks
out and the owners kick all but about 5 people from the club. nice luck. it turns out one of those people that stayed was
a booking agent for about 5 clubs in the L.A. circuit. she and the other 4 people definetly made up for the non-exsistant
pit. and we scored a booking agent chick that digs us. June 22nd we had our video shoot in L.A. for Live/Unsigned so that
they could create a good press package for us. Ten, Resurrection, Guilt Pride, Simple, Light, Wait and Painful Transition
were filmed and recorded. we have a video along with the audio for this. before we came back to texas the press package was
being completed and a list of record labels was being put together for us to decided which ones we would like to be sold to.
if all goes planned Live/Unsigned will "Sell" us to a national label and get the "finders fee" for it. whatever tho. Live/Unsigned
is also providing us with around 30 shows in california. we havn't gotten one yet. me and jason have been on there ass since
we got there about this. anyway. the next day, June 23rd we played at the legendary Jerry's Pizza in Bakersfield. bands like
Korn and Adema have been playing there since they were just starting. the venue was alright. it's really a pizza place and
the bands play on a nice sized stage in the basement. no monitors again, only a p.a. for jason. the crowd was alright, lots
of young kids. the show went good. not really a pit but the kids that were there had a good time head banging. we gave cd's
to the people diggin it. some more crazyness. July 4th a show took place at Jerry's and a person was stabbed to death. Jerry's
pizza is now closed for good. closing the only good place in Bakersfield to play. alright, this is where the california shit
turns good. July 13th we drive up to Santa Rosa(north of san fransico)to play a show with HOSTILITY at Jesse Jeans. I wanna
say HOSTILITY guys are the shit. check this band if you can (www.hostility1.com), not only are they bad ass but they are the
coolest mother fuckers. Thanks again to those guys. alright.. no monitors again at this venue, only a p.a. for jason. the
other bands we played with were crazy heavy. nice to play a show were you LIKE to watch the other bands play. lots of headbanging
and some moshing. the show went good, we impressed the hell outta everyone there and Jason was deamed the "fuckin heaviest
singer" they've heard. WAHAHAHA. we had a show the next night with all the same bands so instead of driving 6 hours back to
our house and six the next day Hostility let us sleep in their rehearsal studio. we all partyed the night away and crashed.
Next day(JULY 14th) we wake up, lock up the studio and drive to Richmond. eat, bum around and meet up with the bands again.
Burnt Ramen was the coolest fuckin venue we played at. stuck in the ghetto this place used to be a studio, now tagged up and
made into a venue. no monitors again, but a nice sized stage. we played 1st warming up the crowd. some big ass crazy mother
fucker named M-7 was fuckin shit up while we played. good crowd response. the rest of the night went off and we drove home.
we decided on the way to bakersfield that we should just drive to houston since we didn't have anymore shows planned. 24 hours
later we pull into houston. TEXAS TOUR, and we do it all again.
